The side of the road is not the best place to have a baby, but that’s just what happened in Aragon Tuesday as a woman apparently started to give birth in her car parked on the roadside next to the Burton’s Kwik Stop early in the morning at approximately 6:10 a.m. Reports are sketchy but it is apparent that a call came in to Polk 911 from a frantic female who told the operator that she was in labor in her car. Redmond EMS was quickly dispatched and transported the woman to the hospital in Rome. The condition of the mother and child are unknown at this time and details regarding the incident are still developing.
