Police are looking for two men who robbed and assaulted a man in Cedartown. According to initial reports, the unidentified victim told police that two white males jumped him near the Prior Street ball fields. The two men then struck the man with a metal pipe and kicked him on the nose, stole his wallet, and then ran off toward Furnace Street. The victim then walked to the hospital from there. It was at the hospital when police were dispatched. The man told authorities that he didn’t have any money in his wallet, just his social security card, ID, and phone contacts. Police are currently searching for the suspects and an investigation is currently ongoing.
