A man from Silver Creek was arrested last week on warrants connected to an early November 2009 car chase. Floyd County Jail docket reports say that 33 Richie Wayne Miller of 8B Highpoint Court in Silver Creek was taken into custody Friday on charges of attempting to allude police and reckless conduct, both felonies. Additionally, Miller was faced misdemeanor charges of driving while license suspended or revoked, driving the wrong way on a one way street, running a stop sign, speeding, passing in no passing zones, driving on wrong side of the road, and having an open container. Police said he was involved in a high speed chase back on November 8, 2009. The report states that Miller allegedly was clocked speeding in excess of 110 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Miller remained in jail Saturday on all of these charges.
