Gingrey to hold town hall on healthcare

U.S. Rep. Phil Gingrey is planning to host a health care town mall meeting in Rome on Aug. 13 at 3 p.m. at the Rome Civic Center. A similar meeting last month drew more than 200 people to the gym at Georgia Highlands College to discuss the higly debated proposed health care overhaul. Gingrey has expressed concerns about the current proposals. The Republican from Marietta worked as an OBGYN before entering politics. Gingrey will hold a town hall in Cedartown on August 19 from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Commission Room of the Georgia State Patrol Building on Cline Ingram Jackson Rd.
