UPDATE: All clear for CMS after bomb threat

Cedartown Middle School students return to class this afternoon after the  school was put on lock down this morning after a reported bomb threat was discovered by a school resource officer. According to Cedartown Assistant Police Chief Jamie Newsome, all students  evacuated the building as a K-9 unit searched the building. Newsome told WGAA Radio that the school resource officer discovered a note at the middle school containing the bomb threat. Superintendent Marvin Williams was not immediately available for comment.
