Section of W. John Hand Rd. closed for repairs

Bob Worthington of the city road department told WGAA News Tuesday that a section of West John Hand Road will be closed from east end of College Circle to west end of College Circle starting at approximately 8 a.m. Wednesday. Worthington said that they will start work after all school traffic is cleared from the roadways. The repair job will take approximately 24 hours. Motorists are advised to take an alternate route to avoid the area.
