Polk Drug Task Force nets numerous arrests after conducting a search warrant

On Aug. 11, 2016, the Polk County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 325 Central Street in Cedartown.

This search warrant was obtained as the result of an extensive investigation into illegal drug distribution. During the search, DTF agents seized cocaine, marijuana, a firearm, and an amount of US currency.

Arrested at the scene of the search warrant were Najawon Devonta Stallworth, 33, of 237 Houseal Street,  Johntaveious Deshawn Sullivan, 32, of 730 Pace Street, Apt No. 2, Akelius Vashunn Brown, 31, of 326 Pine Street, Kamari Chazjuan Sullivan, 17, and Dontea Simone Parker , 24, of 325 Central Street. All the aforementioned persons are charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. All were transported to the Polk County Jail.

“This investigation and search warrant is another example of fine cooperative work by the various law enforcement agencies in the county that participate in the operation of the Polk County Drug Task Force,” said Cedartown Police Chief Jamie Newsome, Public Information Officer for the Drug Task Force.
