The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will host a recruitment on Thursday, Sept. 15, in Cedartown for staffing agency Metro Industrial Services (MIS).
The recruitment will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the GDOL’s Cedartown Career Center located at 262 North Park Boulevard. GDOL staff will be on site to assist the employer.
The company is recruiting 22 forklift operators and warehousemen to work at a facility in Polk County.
Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), along with a forklift-driver certification and at least two years of experience is preferred.
Salaries will depend on experience.
