Corporal Hugh Jarrell of the Polk County Police Department says that an officer on routine patrol noticed the suspect at the Country Store on Piedmont Highway. The officer did not pursue the vehicle but did follow at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was found crashed into the agricultural propane tanks at the corner of Piedmont Highway and Branch Road. When the officer arrived, he observed two suspects fleeing the scene. Police arrested the female passenger, 30 year old Crysta Robinson of a Cedartown address on the scene of the wreck and transported her to Polk County Jail. Robinson was being held on existing, outstanding warrants that include trafficking in methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit a crime. Police are still on the lookout for 41 year old Michael Lamar Poole of 89 E. Second St. Lindale. Poole is wanted on the same offenses.
