Piedmont Police still searching for missing woman

The Piedmont Police Department is still seeking public’s assistance in locating a local missing person. Piedmont Police continue to search for Carla Cook Fuqua who was last seen in late October, 2009. To date the department has conducted more than 70 interviews in the case, has assisted in polygraph examinations, reviewed numerous hours of surveillance footage, and made physical searches – with at least 20 locations being searched, including a number of residences, along with a wooded area where she was allegedly last seen. Mrs. Fuqua is a 28 year old white female, with sandy hair and blue eyes – she is 5’04” tall, and weighs approximately 100 lbs. Carla Cook Fuqua is currently listed as a wanted person for Failure to Appear on charges of Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance and with Failure to Pay on Negotiating a Worthless Negotiable Instrument.
