Martin Luther King Day March held in Cedartown

Nearly one hundred people participated in Monday afternoon’s Martin Luther King Day march in Cedartown. This was the fifth annual event and unlike in years past, the march went south from the courthouse to Cedar Springs Baptist Church in case of inclement weather. Marchers began their trek down Main Street under a blue sky at around 12 noon and arrived at the church at around 12:30. Speakers at the church included Cedar Spring pastor Lewis Clark, along with Pastor Sydney Ford, Mr. Frank K. Jones, and a presentation of Dr. King’s “I Have a Dream Speech.”
