LifeFlight transports auto accident victim; entrapment reported

A couple of weekend wrecks has sent a person to an Atlanta area hospital via LifeFlight helicopter. According to the Georgia State Patrol, the wreck occurred on Taylorsville Road in the Rockmart area. The initial call to 911 came in on Sunday. It was confirmed that a woman drove her car into a creek. LifeFlight was called to transport her to Atlanta for treatment of her injuries. The woman’s identity and condition is not known at this time. Another wreck occurred in Cedartown on Lee’s Chapel Road. One person was injured and there was also a report of entrapment. One person from that wreck was taken to the hospital. No other details are known at this time regarding this wreck.
