Etowah County, Alabama authorities have arrested a 34 year old Ball Play man on Robbery charges. According to Sheriff Todd Entrekin, Robert Lee Holcomb, has been charged with robbery and criminal mischief, in connection with an October 8th robbery on Tom Cat Road in the Ball Play community. According to the sheriff, the victim was walking along Tom Cat Road when Holcomb approached him with a metal stick stealing a cell phone and set of keys from the victim. The items have been recovered. After the robbery, Holcomb then slashed all four tires on the victim’s vehicle. A second suspect was detained, questioned and later released.
