County police shut down Meadow Lakes access

An incident in the Meadow Lakes area has forced the closing of several roads in and around the golf course.

According to Polk County Police Chief Kenny Dodd, Meadow Lakes Golf Course is closed to non-residents as police are investigating an incident that occurred there.

No further details have been released on the extent of the incident.

Access to Meadow Lakes Golf Club is restricted to residents only until police have concluded their investigation.
