The Buchanan City Council continues discussing qualifications and a “pouring fee” for the new alcohol ordinance approved by voters last November, in hopes of making by-the-drink adult beverages available by March. City Clerk Karen King says officials are planning to present “one big ordinance” to encompass all alcohol issues and update the current ordinance that is considered out-dated. King encourages residents to participate in the upcoming council work session scheduled for February 25th.
