A Cedartown man was arrested after he slammed his vehicle into a house on Evergreen Lane Friday. According to reports from the Cedartown police, 24 year old Troy Lee of a North College Street address in Cedartown was arrested Friday and charged with driving with a suspended license, DUI, failure to maintain lane, and striking a fixed object. Police say that no one was injured in the incident. Police were dispatched to 228 Evergreen Lane on Friday afternoon after a neighbor called in a possible burglary when they heard noises from the nearby home. When police arrived, they found a 1995 GMC Yukon completely inside the house. Luckily, no one was home with the SUV hit. A preliminary investigation seems to indicate that Lee failed to negotiate a curve in the road and that speed played a key factor in the wreck.
