From CHS Band:
As some of you may know, there is a construction project going on at Cedartown High that is adding a new band room and performance center!! What you may not know is that as of December the current high school band room will be closed and repurposed. The band room that we all know and love will be no more. So, an event is planned for all band alumni so you can come walk through the band room one last time, hear about the plans for the new construction, and even play with the band if you still have the chops! As it turns out, it is also the 75th anniversary of the CHS band! Much of our history will also be available that night! We plan for the alumni to sit together at the game by the band and play along with the stands music. Don’t miss this event!!

Band Alumni meet in CHS front lobby for an overview of the new fine arts addition and a tour of the current band room.
- 6:30 p.m.
Meet with the CHS Band in the CHS Cafeteria to warm-up and play a few tunes. Bring your instrument, if you wish! Music can be downloaded and printed from Tom McGarity’s Online Classroom (see details below). Since the band has these tunes memorized, no music will be passed out for guests.

As the band marches into the stadium you will have time to pay for your ticket and support the band boosters’ concession stand (great food!) You are welcome to sit with the band and play stand tunes or sit in the reserved section near the band while you enjoy the football game and halftime show. Reserved section seat passes (not tickets) will be available at the tailgate.
