Aragon officer cleared after GBI investigation

An Aragon Police officer has been cleared by a probe from the GBI regarding the attempted theft of police cruiser. According to reports, Seargant Matthew Rook followed protocol in the restraint of the suspect, 36 year old Tina Poole Cobb, and in discharging his firearm when she attempted to flee in the police cruiser. The incident in question began when Rook pulled over the car and then began to question her son, 18 year old Alex Lamar Poole who was driving. Cobb became belligerent and was handcuffed. Afterward, she jumped into Rook’s police cruiser and drove off until she wrecked on Portland Road and Jenna Drive. She was then arrested.
