Two separate motorcycle accidents in Bartow Co. Monday

Bartow County EMS responded to two separate motorcycle accidents.

The crew arrived to the first accident on Pine Ridge Road to find a 20-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive.

The crew, after evaluation, determined the patient had a closed head injury and requested a medical helicopter for rapid transport to a level 1 trauma center.

The patient was flown to Erlanger.

The second accident was on Timber Wood Road at Kirk.

The crew arrived to find a 65-year-old male with a broken leg.

The patient was transported to Floyd Medical Center for treatment.
