A two car wreck on Highway 27 at the Walmart entrance Wednesday evening tied up traffic and caused some major delays. According to reports from the scene, the wreck involved a late model red Pontiac 4 door sedan and a full size dark blue Honda SUV. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene. The accident had the southbound lanes of Highway 27 blocked for about 30 minutes. Officers were directing southbound traffic through the Walmart parking lot. No serious injuries were reported but the main entrance to the Walmart shopping center and Home Depot was bottlenecked for nearly 45 minutes as crew worked to clear the scene.
