A Winter Storm Watch has been issued along and north of a line from Newnan to Covington to Athens.
Rain will change over to snow on Wednesday with 2-4″ of accumulation possible, with up to 6″ in the northeast mountains.
Lower amounts are possible on the south side of the Alanta Metro area.
