UPDATE: Two Cedartown men killed in single vehicle accident

UPDATED 5/13/16 – 6:03 a.m.

According to Polk County Coroner Tony Brazier, Donald Pittman, Jr., and William Jeremy Beck, both age 28 & both of Cedartown, were pronounced dead on the scene at 8 pm Thursday night on Cave Spring Road near Friendship Rd.

Both men were ejected after the vehicle left the roadway and flipped.

A single vehicle accident Thursday evening has claimed the life of two individuals.

According to the Georgia State Patrol Cartersville Post, a vehicle overturned on Cave Spring Road near Friendship Road at approximately 7:00 p.m Thursday evening.

GSP has confirmed that two individuals in the vehicle were killed in the accident.

The identities of the individuals have not yet been officially released from authorities and no other information is available at this time.
