A woman was seriously injured Wednesday night after she reportedly jumped out of a moving vehicle near Home Depot.
According to Cedartown Police Chief Jamie Newsome, the 28-year-old white female was a passenger in a car that was traveling on Davis Road when she became involved in some sort of domestic dispute with the driver. She then reportedly jumped out of the vehicle and sustained severe head trauma.
The incident happened at approximately 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, according to initial reports.
A LifeFlight helicopter was called in to airlift the female to the Atlanta Medical Center Trauma Unit. Her condition was not immediately known.
