McCowan Road drug raid nets 11 people on drug charges

A drug raid at a couple of McCowan Road residences in Rockmart Wednesday night has netted ten adults and one juvenile for several charges. According to a press release from the Polk County Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Team, arrested were:

  • 30 year old Kimberly Deyton of Rockmart, on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of altered pseudoephedrine, possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
  • 27 year old Randy Presley Jr. of Rockmart, on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of altered pseudoephedrine, possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture methamphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
  • 44 year old Anthony Presley of Rockmart, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of altered pseudoephedrine, possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture meth, trafficking methamphetamine, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
  • 28 year old Thomas Bishop Jr. of Rockmart, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of altered pseudoephedrine, possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture meth, trafficking meth, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
  • 47 year old Randy Presley Sr. of Rockmart, was placed on charges of possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of altered pseudoephedrine, possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture meth, trafficking meth, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
  • 47 year old Patrick Presley of Rockmart, on charges of possession of methamphetamine, manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of altered pseudoephedrine, possession of pseudoephedrine with the intent to manufacture meth, trafficking meth, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
  • 51 year old Glenda Womack of Rockmart, on charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit trafficking in methamphetamine.
  • 25 year old Stacy Presley of Rockmart, on charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit trafficking in methamphetamine.
  • 49 year old Carolyn Presley of Rockmart, on charges of conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and conspiracy to commit trafficking in methamphetamine.

NET officers said the charges against Glenda Womack, Stacy Presley and Carolyn Presley, are related to what they believe is their participation in the methamphetamine manufacturing process. The investigation uncovered that the three repeatedly supplied pseudoephedrine-based cold medication for manufacturing purposes, according to police. Additionally 53 year old David Womack of Rockmart, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. Police found a methamphetamine pipe that contained methamphetamine residue in Womack’s possession upon the execution of the search warrant. NET was assisted by the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Clandestine Laboratory Task Force and Cedartown Police Department’s K-9. Several individuals fled as search warrants were executed. All individuals were apprehended and placed under arrest.
