The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help a staffing company, Aerotek, recruit 11 workers to assemble office furniture at the The Hon Company’s manufacturing facility in Cedartown.
The recruitment will be held Monday, March 16, from 1-3:30 p.m. at the GDOL’s Cedartown Career Center, 262 North Park Blvd.
Due to federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also have at least 12 months experience working in a manufacturing facility. A high school diploma, or a General Education Diploma (GED), is preferred, but not required for the jobs.
Salaries begin at $10.50 an hour.
The company will conduct background checks and drug-screening tests on selected applicants.
