Rome Police are still investigating a fatal shooting that occurred in a South Rome nightclub early Sunday morning.
According to reports, 28-year-old Wreno Dantoine Fain was gunned down at the Lexus Lounge on East Main Street and was rushed to the Floyd Medical Center Emergency Room where he was pronounced dead at around 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police arrested 25-year-old Jamal Nevin Foreman later that morning on a charge of felony murder after a witness tipped off police of his location.
He remains locked up at the Floyd County Jail without bond.
Police continue to follow up on witness statements.
Fain’s body has been sent to the GBI Crime Lab for an autopsy.
