According to eyewitnesses, the victim is a male in his 20s.
A large crowd has gathered at the crime scene, many crying.
Some have attempted to cross the crime scene tape to get to the victim.
Police remain on the scene, conducting their investigation.
The incident occurred just before noon at the apartment complex, located on Dodd Boulevard.
