City of Cedartown announces public input meeting

The City of Cedartown will host a public informational meeting to receive input to be used in preparing the recreation master plan. The purpose of this master plan is to determine the type, number and location of future parks, facilities, programs, open space and trails to be provided to meet present and future needs of city residents. The meeting will be held on Thursday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m. in the City Council Room of City Hall, located at 201 East Ave. The city’s recreation consultant will moderate the meeting and those in attendance will have the opportunity to contribute their suggestions relative to improving the recreation system. Please plan to attend this meting. The Recreations Master Plan is being developed to provide guidance for the development of future recreation activities and facilities. Everyone is invited to attend this meeting.
