Less than two weeks after the shooting deaths of a Carroll County couple in their home, a grand jury has indicted the suspect on multiple counts of murder and armed robbery. Sheriffs deputies arrested 27 year old Daniel Buckner after he allegedly shot and killed 48 year old John Wahl and his partner, 43 year old Beth Allen Jackson inside their home on Peek Drive near Carrollton on June 10. Buckner was indicted by a Carroll County grand jury this week on two counts of malice murder, two counts of felony murder and two counts of armed robbery. According to the Georgia Department of Corrections, Buckner was out on parole at the time of his arrest. He had been convicted of first degree forgery, fraudulent use of a credit card, simple battery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and theft by receiving stolen property in Cobb and Cherokee counties since 1998.
