The Polk County Humane Society, Posey Shelter Pet Promoters Inc and the Polk County Animal Control will be having its annual rabies vaccination clinic in Rockmart from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 24. The event will be held at the Rockmart Gym located on Hogue Avenue behind the tennis courts. The clinic serves many people who are on a fixed income. Participants aren’t required to be a resident of Polk County for this event. This year, the price will be $7 per dog, cat or ferret and $12 per horse.
