53rd annual Polk County Fair continues through Saturday

Two nights are in the books for the 53^rd annual Polk County Fair, which continues through Saturday.

Tonight is Senior Citizens Night at the fair and all those ages 60 and over will be admitted free of charge, according to the Cedartown Exchange Club. Tickets for general admission are $5 for adults and $3 for children, with unlimited ride armbands available for $18.

The gates open at 5 p.m. tonight with live entertainment slated to get underway at 6:30 p.m. with the Youngs Grove Youth Group. Then at 7:30 tonight, Karen Lyn Dobson & Dany Beard will be on stage. Wrapping up the Thursday evening entertainment at 9 p.m. will be Acoustic Avenger.

Join the Big Double A in the exhibit hall each night for a chance to win some great prizes and other activities.

The Polk County Fair runs through this coming Saturday.
