Police arrest would be burglar at Woman’s Building

Cedartown Police were dispatched to a possible burglary at the Woman’s Building on Wissahickon Avenue Wednesday. Cedartown Assistant Police Chief Jamie Newsome says that two concerned citizens made the call. The two citizens held the would be burglar until officers arrived. Police arrested 45 year old Perry Strickland on charges of criminal trespass and criminal damage to property in the second degree. Newsome says that entry was not made to the building however, an exterior storm window and primary window to the kitchen were broken. The incident occurred around 12:30 Wednesday afternoon.
