Rome Braves fall 5-1 to Kannapolis Tuesday afternoon; lose series to Intimidators, three games to one

The Intimidators took the lead in the second and never looked back, scoring two runs on a Brandon Dulin (4) two run home run.

Kannapolis added another in the fourth on a Joel Booker RBI single and two more in the eighth on a Seby Zavala (5) two run home run.

Rome scored one in the eight on a passed ball, but felt short in the 5-1 final.

Alec Hansen (3-3) earns the victory for Kannapolis while Bryce Wilson (2-1) takes the loss for Rome.

Rome is off today and will play host to the Lexington Legends for a 4-game set Thursday-Sunday at State Mutual Stadium.
