Polk County suspends burn ban, city ban still in effect

Due to recent beneficial rain in the area, the Polk County Board of Commissioners has decided to temporarily suspend the countywide burn ban.

County commission chair Stephanie Drake Burford said that the signed the order on Wednesday and the situation will be evaluated every two weeks.
