Illegal aliens arrested in Rome

A couple of Guatemalans who reside in Rome were picked up during a sting conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel assisted by officers from the Conasauga Safe Streets Task Force. Miguel Monzon of a Burnett Ferry Road address and 32-year-old Mauricio Perez-Vincente, also of a Burnett Ferry Road address, were picked up along with seven illegals from Dalton and one from Chatsworth. The enforcement effort was aimed at individuals who had been ordered to leave the country but have failed to comply.
