Icy roads in Alabama claim the life of a Cedartown man

A Cedartown man was killed in a fatal car crash in Alabama and icy roads appear to be the cause. According to the Alabama State Patrol, 22 year old Eribaldo Lucas Ramirez of Cedartown was transported to Gadsden Regional Medical Center were he later died from his injuries. Troopers say the single car wreck occurred on Alabama State Highway 68 near Sand Rock, Alabama on January 7. Reports state that Ramirez lost control of his 1997 Honda sedan on a patch of ice and left the road and struck a tree.
