College Drive closed on Wednesday

Well another major road closure in Cedartown today. This time it’s a portion of College Drive in the north end of town. According to city officials, a section of College Drive between Georgia Lane and the stop sign at John Hand Road will be closed for at least 24 hours. City crews recently completed work on John Hand Road and College Street and have more projects on their list. Stay tuned to the Big Double A for the latest. Once again, College Drive will be closed from Georgia Lane to the John Hand Road intersection. Residents and motorists can use Evergreen Lane to cut across to Cave Spring Road as a detour.
