ATV accident in Alabama injures three

Three people were injured in a two-vehicle ATV wreck in Cedar Bluff this weekend. The incident occurred Saturday evening on Cherokee County Road 51. Drivers involved in the collision, according to the Alabama State Trooper report, were 20 year old Adam Sanders of Taylorsville, who was driving a 2006 Kawasaki ATV vehicle, and Bethany Hester of Cartersville, who was driving a second four-wheel vehicle. Hester, Sanders and a passenger, Maggie Smith, also of Taylorsville, were injured, reports said. Smith was transported to Floyd Medical Center for treatment. The wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
