Weekend games rained out; baseball back Monday

After the Cedartown Bulldogs improved their record to 2-0 on the season, with a 6-2 win over Haralson County and blanking the Rockmart Yellow Jackets 12-0 in 5 innings, the team will be back in action today at home, hosting the Woodland Wildcats.

First pitch is today at 4:30 pm.

Cedartown’s games on Saturday against Pepperell and Coosa were rained out, with no word on if or when the games will be made up.

After today’s game, Cedartown will travel to Haralson County on Tuesday and then host a rematch of last year’s Elite Eight playoff series against the Calhoun Yellow Jackets on Thursday.
