Polk DTF: narcotics search warrant nets four drug arrests

On February 17, 2017 the Polk County DTF executed a narcotics search warrant at 420 Pace Street located in Cedartown, Georgia. This search warrant stemmed from an investigation that was initiated mid January 2017 targeting individuals responsible for the street level distribution of controlled substances such as crack cocaine, marijuana, ecstasy, and controlled prescription medication. This particular area is historically known for being an “open air drug market”. This investigation resulted in the seizure of amounts of crack cocaine, ecstasy, controlled medication, a firearm, and a large amount of U.S currency.

Arrested at the scene were the following individuals:

  • Zeric Quantay Walker, (27) of 216 Daisy Circle McDonough, Georgia, was charged with (1) possession of tools for the commission of a crime, (2) possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, (3) possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, (4) possession of a schedule II controlled substance, (5) possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, (6) possession of a controlled substance, and (7) obstruction/hindering law enforcement.
  • Trimance Walker, (33) of 420 Pace Street Cedartown, Georgia, was charged with (1) possession of tools for the commission of a crime, (2) two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, (3) possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, (4) possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, (5) possession of a schedule I controlled substance, and (6) possession of a schedule II controlled substance .
  • Labrent Derance Walker, (30) of 237 Houseal Street Cedartown, Georgia, was charged with (1) two counts of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, (2) possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, (3) possession of tools for the commission of a crime, and (4) possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. In addition, Labrent Walker was arrested for outstanding arrest warrants stemming from this investigation for sales of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, and possession of cocaine.
  • Sequoia Wilson, (27) of 154 Vance Avenue Cedartown, Georgia. Mrs. Wilson was charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance.

 

All the aforementioned persons were arrested at the scene and transported to the Polk County jail for housing without further incident. Zeric Walker remains in the Polk County jail and his bond has been denied by the Polk County Magistrate Court. Trimance Walker remains at the Polk County Jail and his bond was set at $85,000.00 by the Polk County Magistrate Court. Labrent Walker remains at the Polk County jail and his bond has been denied by the Polk County Magistrate Court. Sequoia Wilson has been released on bond.
