Pilgrim still in critical condition; fund set up at First National Bank

A young boy who was struck by a school bus last week remains in critical condition at Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta. According to Cedartown Police, 12 year old Wyatt Pilgrim apparently darted out in front of a moving school bus and was struck on Evergreen Lane close to Cherokee Elementary School on Wednesday, September 9. Assistant Police Chief Jamie Newsome told WGAA News that after an investigation, Police found that no one was at fault in the terrible accident. According to a family member, a fund has been set up for the child at the First National Bank of Polk County. Bank officials said anyone wishing to donate can inform a teller and they will give you necessary paperwork to make a donation.
