Man pleads guilty to murder of Cedartown man

A man who is alleged to have been involved in the slaying of a 19 year old Cedartown man pleads guilty to murder. 40-year old Bryan Williams pleaded guilty to murder Friday in Floyd Superior Court in the 2009 shooting death of Jeffrey Pledger. Police say that Williams and three others lured Pledger to a home on East 19th Street in Rome with the intent to rob him. Williams will be sentenced at a later date. He will be facing life in prison.
