HOOPS: Lady Dawgs top Temple; dominate second half seals deal for Dawgs

Varsity Girls:

Temple Lady Tigers 38
Cedartown Lady Bulldogs 44

Senior Tia Covington led all scorers with 19 points, nine in each the first and second halves. Sophomore Tamara Beeman would add 13 of her own in the victory. The Lady Dawgs are now 4-3 on the season.

Varsity Boys:

Temple Tigers 48
Cedartown Bulldogs 62

Temple’s Javin Boles had 23 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Dawgs use a balanced attack to cage the Tigers 62-48. Quan Neal scored 11 points and Miles Minge provided 10 points, including a couple of 3-pointers. The Bulldogs improved their record to 4-3.
