Downtown Cedartown Association rolls out new website

PRESS RELEASE

The Downtown Cedartown Association (DCA) unveiled a new website this week.

Accessible by logging on to www.downtowncedartown.com, the website presents useful information for visitors, residents and potential downtown investors. The website’s homepage features a revolving slideshow of photos taken in Downtown Cedartown and surrounding areas.

There are several links on the homepage where viewers can discover information on the Silver Comet Trail and the top four reasons to invest in downtown. A link to the DCA’s interactive community walk map can also be accessed from the homepage. A calendar of events is available on the site as well. In addition to the homepage, there are four other pages featured on the site that include information on membership and benefits of being a part of the DCA, properties that are available for rent or purchase in the downtown area and a resource center of community contacts and information.

The site also features a one-click accessibility to the Downtown Cedartown Association’s Facebook page as well as a link to the City of Cedartown’s YouTube channel. City of Cedartown Public Information Officer Aimee Madden said the goal of the new website is to provide an easy-to-navigate and attractive format so that residents and visitors can easily discover information about Downtown Cedartown.

“The old website had most of the information that is on the new site, the difference is that this new site is much easier on the eyes and more interactive,” Madden said.

For questions regarding the site, residents can contact Madden at 770-748-3220, ext. 221.
