GDOL to help Automation Personnel recruit workers in Rome next week

ATLANTA –The Georgia Department of Labor (GDOL) will help Automation Personnel fill more than 30 jobs in Calhoun and Adairsville with a light industrial manufacturer.
The recruitment will be held Tuesday, July 29, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the GDOL Rome Career Center, 462 Riverside Parkway.

The company is recruiting experienced inspectors, creelers, tarp cutters, twisters, and tufting machine operators and mechanics, along with pole-hyster drivers and dye-house sew-on and roll-up workers.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, applicants must be at least 18 years old. They must also have a high school or General Education Diploma (GED), and at least one year of industrial or manufacturing experience.

Salaries begin at $10 an hour, depending on experience and position. Jobs are available on all shifts.

The company will conduct a background check and drug-screening test and may offer an industrial-skills test
