This is the last week if you want to cast your ballot early for the primary election runoff next Tuesday.
An additional early voting location is now open in Rockmart at the Nathan Dean Center from 9 a.m. through 5 p.m.
Early voting continues through Friday at the Polk County Administration Building in Cedartown during the same hours.
Turnout for the election has been above the state average up to this point, according to election officials.
Locally, a runoff in the Polk County Superior Court race features attorneys Chuck Morris of Cedartown and Meng Lim of Tallapoosa.
The Superior Court race is nonpartisan and will appear on all ballots.
Two statewide races are on the republican ballot.
The winner of the heated U.S. Senate runoff between U.S. Representative Jack Kingston and businessman David Perdue will face democratic challenger Michelle Nunn in November.
There is also a runoff in the GOP race for State School Superintendent, a post that will be vacated by John Barge who did not seek reelection in order to run for governor.
Mike Buck of Rome will face Richard Woods on the Republican ballot.
On the democratic ballot, a runoff for state school superintendent features Alisha Thomas Morgan and Valarie D. Wilson.
