Morris gets Endorsements
Local attorney Chuck Morris recently announced several endorsements by local attorneys in his bid for Judge of Superior Court for the Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit. Attorneys endorsing Morris include Daniel B. Simon, III of Rockmart, Wright Gammon, Brad McFall, Bryan Villarreal, George E. Mundy, Benjamin C. Burch, J. Steve Astin, Michael D. McRae, Jule W. Peek, Jr., Robert T. Monroe, Carey R. Pilgrim, William L. Lundy, Jr., Richard J. Lundy and John A. Mays, Jr. all of Cedartown as well as Stephen Garner of Breman, Nicholas J. Rego of Tallapoosa and William E. Cetti of Taylorsville. Morris stated in his release “It is truly an honor to receive the endorsement and support of my peers. I am truly humbled that so many local attorneys are supporting me in my campaign.” Morris is a partner at the law firm of Parker and Lundy here in Cedartown as well an Associate Judge for the Juvenile Courts of Polk and Haralson Counties. Morris announced his candidacy after Judge Richard Sutton announced he would retire at the end of this year. The election for Superior Court Judge is a non-partisan election and will be held on May 20th with early voting beginning on April 28th.
