Dawgs Hit the Road; Travel to Allatoona
The Cedartown Bulldogs will travel to Allatoona High School to take on the Buccaneers tonight at 7:30pm. Cedartown takes a 5-1 record into the matchup, but Allatoona boasts an unblemished 6-0 mark this season.
The Buccaneers, led by Head Coach Gary Varner, are scoring 31.0 points per game this season and they are coming off of a 44-0 victory over Murray County. Even more impressive, they are only allowing 5.0 points a game and have shut out their last two opponents.
The Bucs aren’t the only ones doing some damage on the gridiron lately.
Cedartown comes in riding a three game winning streak, the last W coming on a 48-27 drumming of Pickens County. Cedartown has scored 40 or more points in 3 straight games, and have played solid defense in each of those contests.
Coach Scott Hendrix and the Bulldogs will be looking for their best start since 2003 when they travel to Acworth, Georgia tomorrow night to take on the Allatoona Buccaneers at 7:30pm.
