HOMECOMING! Dawgs square off against Gilmer County
The Cedartown Bulldogs will square off tonight with the Gilmer County Bobcats, in the annual Homecoming game, starting at 7:30 pm at Cedartown Memorial Stadium/Doc Ayers Field.
Gilmer County Head Coach Wesley Tankersley will lead the Bobcats into Cedartown after an impressive 24-17 win over the Ridgeland Panthers.
However, Cedartown has an impressive win of their own to boast about, a 46-40 gut wrenching win over Southeast Whitfield County. The Dawgs have had an off week to recover physically and mentally, so they’ll look to take advantage of the extra rest.
Cedartown will continue to look to their dynamic offensive duo, brothers Zach and Nick Chubb, to carry the Dawgs to a 4-1 record, which would be there best start since 2003.
Presentation of Class Representatives and the crowning of the 2011 Homecoming Queen will take place at halftime.
Again, the game starts at 7:30 tonight, so come out and support the Dawgs.
