Six arrested for Drugs
Six Cedartown residents are behind bars after a drug bust Friday night at three Cedartown homes. Polk County Police Department’s Narcotic Enforcement Team headed up the raid that landed four people in jail on cocaine charges. The following people were arrested and charged with cocaine possession and possession of drug-related objects: James Anthony Redwine age 57, Reginald Ivan Billings age 32, Demetrius Eugene Darden age 34, and Alice Marie Messer age 49. Bryant Latyane Pollard, age 31, was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of more than one ounce of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Kenyon Vonte Cole, age 30, was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine, possession of drug-related objects and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. Officers recovered a quantity of crack cocaine and marijuana, several digital scales and four handguns. Polk County NET officers were assisted by Polk County Police K-9, the county patrol division, county criminal investigations, Paulding County Sheriff’s K-9 and the Cedartown Police Department’s patrol division.
